This lecture series focuses on spotlight tours of specific artworks in Visions from India. It is an opportunity to further explore some of the salient themes in this exhibition and engage directly with works in the galleries through talks led by curators and invited specialists. After the walk through, we will gather in the library to continue the conversation and drink delicious Chai. All Pizzuti Collection Chai and a Chats are free for members as well as with museum admission, and do not require tickets or reservations unless otherwise noted. Chai and a Chat will be held on the first Tuesday of every month from 11 to 12 p.m. during the run of Visions from India (except for the month of July).
The next talk in this series is titled, In Praise of Darkness: Francis Newton Souza’s Black Paintings hosted by Alejandra Rojas, Pizzuti Collection Curatorial Fellow.
