Changes To Pizzuti Collection StaffShare

We are proud to announce that Interim Curator Greer Pagano has been promoted to Chief Curator. Greer Pagano has held the position of Interim Curator since October 2016 and was Assistant Curator since December 2013. She has co-curated a number of Pizzuti Collection exhibitions including NOW-ISM: Abstraction Today, Ori Gersht: Portraits, US IS THEM, Campana Brothers: Brazilian Design Now, This Just In: New Acquisitions, Robert Beck | Robert Buck: States of America, Cuban Forever Revisited, and our current exhibition, Visions from India.

“This is a thrilling opportunity,” said Greer. “I look forward to working with the Pizzuti team on a series of exciting exhibitions that expand our programming and offer new ways for the community to experience the Pizzuti Collection."

Greer Pagano graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a BA in Art History and Italian in 1997. She received her Ph.D. In History of Art from The Ohio State University in 2013 where she also earned a Master’s degree in Art Education. Prior to joining the Pizzuti Collection Greer Pagano taught Art History classes at CCAD and OSU and worked at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The Pizzuti Collection is also excited for the hire of Sarah Mellon as the new Director of Development. Sarah comes to us with extensive experience in development, most recently working as Business Development Manager for the City of Westerville’s Department of Parks and Recreation. Previous to that position, Sarah worked at the New York Hall of Science for over 5 years in varying developmental capacities including Manager of Corporate Partnerships, Corporate and Foundation Relations.

"We're thrilled that Sarah has joined the Pizzuti Collection as our new Director of Development. She comes to us with years experience and success,” said Ron Pizzuti. “Her knowledge in developing and managing vital corporate and foundation relationships will be central to bolstering our contemporary art program."

Sarah will direct development efforts at the Pizzuti Collection including expanding our membership base, creating relationships with corporate and foundation giving communities, and strengthening our individual donor base. Sarah can be reached at smellon@pizzuticollection.org or 614-300-3549.
